Elephant table.
The Elephant Table, a folding, outdoor, coffee or occasional table.
Perfect to sit around with out stools or chairs; days in the park and festivals.
Folds flat for storage and transport.
Carried by a simple cross of material, reminiscent of the way in which Africans use material to carry babies.

Test rig for folding table.
After constructing a basic test rig of my folding table in Gambia, I've made another one to smooth out any problems before the finished piece.
Testing the table for strength, this clamp weighs about 15 KG and the table held up fine. As it's an occasional/coffee table it shouldn't ever have to deal with anything like this much weight.
The slot and hole system that gives the table strength.
Corners removed, this helps to stabilise the table as it means items cant be put in the corners which might cause the table to tip. The shape also reflects the shape created by feet when they overlap. The unusual shape is a welcome change from the normal right angle corner of most tables.
